The TA addressed the significant complexity and highly dynamic evolution of the external climate finance landscape and mechanisms such as the GCF, and the challenges and barriers faced by DMCs to identify and develop priority projects which deliver against national climate and development priorities as well as the investment criteria of external climate finance providers.
