CAREC Transport Corridor I (Bishkek-Torugart Road) Project 2

The final approval for constructing the At-Bashy access road was not provided until May 2013. The late addition of this component was part of the reason that the grant and loan closing date needed to be extended. Additional works of this magnitude should be identified, appraised, and approved at an earlier project stage to ensure completion of all works within the allotted period.
