The recommendations of the final report are particularly important for the former Soviet Union countries that have similarly designed power systems and operational practices. Following the Kazakh experience, in 2019, the “Power the Future” program of the United States Agency for International Development provided two PowerFactory licenses each to Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
