Gender targets for training are based on actual data on the organization’s employee composition and should aim to increase participation of underrepresented groups. To increase the value of the training activities, gender targets can be designed such that the (i) organization’s current employee composition and (ii) steps to increase the exposure, awareness, and participation of underrepresented groups are taken into account, while ensuring the delivery of the training program to the appropriate people who are currently performing the critical tasks.
