Strengthening Integrated Water Resources Management in Mountainous River Basins

River basin planning requires the development of information sharing networks at national and regional levels. Regional study tours and participation in national and regional workshops and networking events can help facilitate the building of such networks. There is a need for learning outcomes of such events to be documented and participant evaluations undertaken and analyzed to assess effectiveness and justify investments in such activities.
