Identifying and preparing backup subprojects will help improve the implementation process, especially in an MFF program where cancellation and replacement of subprojects and/or scope adjustments are anticipated. This is particularly pertinent in rural areas where varying size and technical requirements and limited expertise and capabilities of local contractors present critical challenges in ensuring a subproject feasibility and readiness.
