Private sector participation in skills development is still limited at each stage of the skills development value chain. The limited enterprise support in such trainings may be caused by the lack of recognition and understanding of mutual benefits that could be derived by training institutes and enterprises. Thus, continuous dialogue and awareness raising are needed with the (i) private sector to (a) ensure the matching of vocational courses and demand for skills, and (b) convince employers of the value of female employees; and (ii) parents and students to ensure continuous demand for vocational courses.
