Lesson
A lesson here is: Pilot studies can potentially play an important role in the adoption and replication of cleaner production technologies if they can clearly demonstrate (i) the benefits to industries and (ii) that such adoption and replication can be a win-win scenario for the environment as well as the businesses.

Although the TA had some implementation challenges, it still showed that linking a TA to an MFF investment program can yield significant benefits for the development of a sector, leveraging the benefits of the TA.

Following the delivery of the outputs, the government had initiated procurement of 20 elevators on pilot basis. Having considered the pilot successful, Yerevan Municipality announced further procurement of 500 elevators, to be financed from the municipal budget.
