Project Number: 46257-001
Project Name: Strengthening Integrated Water Resources Management in Mountainous River Basins
Report Date: 21 Dec 2020

Lesson
When changes are made to targeted knowledge products (e.g., combining knowledge products, not publishing products on the ADB website), the rational for these changes need to be analyzed and explained in M&E reports.

Project Number: 46257-001
Project Name: Strengthening Integrated Water Resources Management in Mountainous River Basins
Report Date: 21 Dec 2020

Lesson
Surveys of beneficiary perceptions of the quality of outputs (such as plans, reports, workshops, training, and other communications) should be included in the design of the TA project. It is difficult to say much about the quality of outputs and their potential contribution to targeted outcomes without such feedback. The development of easily accessible awareness-raising materials targeting decision makers in other river basins who are involved or interested in IWRM and RBO activities is a useful alternative to highly technical publications.
