Strengthening Property Tax Management to Enhance Local Revenue

Effective communication with implementing teams on the approach and strategic plans for TA implementation is important. This was demonstrated by the TA through (i) frequent meetings of the project team with management, project officers, counterpart staff in resident missions, and consultants that proved effective in ensuring that TA progress remained on track and all activities were well managed; and (ii) recruitment of experienced experts in the property tax development space with familiarity on ADB protocols and procedures and government partners that was effective in successfully carrying out theTA.
