Road safety know-how in different countries are at different levels, and it isimportant to have regular meetings with government counterparts to ensure that the TA remains relevant to their needs, and to fine tune if their needs change. The training focusing on road safety engineering was aligned to ADB’s operations which led integration of road safety evaluation tools into CAREC road projects and consideration of road safety in the projects.
