A follow-on TA with a similar structure (R-CDTA 9660) was approved in late 2018 to continue with gender operational support and innovation to support the implementation of the new Gender Operational Plan. In addition, other proposals have been prepared for continued support to some of the subprojects (e.g., FCFWI Tbilisi and Bandung) from funds available from the ADB Governance and Urban sector and thematic groups.

According to the 2020 workplan of NCGE approved on 31 January 2020, out of 81 activities in total, 16 activities will be financed by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR)-supported ADB TA project–Moving Gender Equality Forward through Civil Society Engagement7F effective 19 July 2020, while the rest of activities are expected to be funded by the NCGE.
