Agribusiness Development

The progress of value addition and supply chain development has been inadequate. The concept of value addition, supply chain management, and improved quality of products needs to be linked to export options, reduction of wastage, high quality standards, compliance with phytosanitary and public health standards, and an increased role of women at different levels of agribusiness development. There remains a need for continued support to women to enable them to diversify and scale up their enterprises, and gain access to upper levels of the value chain.
