The State Statistical Committee (SSC) has numerous macroeconomic indicators on its website. However, in most cases, very recent data are missing. International organizations such as ADB, the IMF and the World Bank release forecasts of macroeconomic indicators for upcoming years, and SSC should consider following the same approach.

Accessibility of healthcare data in Azerbaijan needs to be improved. Reports from the Ministry of Health Care are not publicly available on its website. In addition, the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance considers healthcare information to be highly sensitive. Accordingly, this information is not contained on its website. Information related to daily coronavirus infections and vaccinations was released publicly. It would be useful for the agency to disseminate gender, age, and region-disaggregated information to the public.

Unforeseeable changes in the regulatory framework introduced after project approval can result in changes in project design and scope. In this case, it prompted lengthy discussions that ended up with the cancellation of one output. The experience needs to be considered for projects that plan to address complex issues with multisectoral involvement in countries like Mongolia that are still transitioning and frequently introduce changes in the existing regulations.

It was prepared with unprecedented speed and supported the priorities identified by the government in its COVID-19 response program.

The collection of sex-disaggregated data remains to be a challenge in Georgia and this needs greater attention in ensuing programs in the country. The collection of sex-disaggregated data to support CPRO design and implementation was challenging, hindered in some cases by the emergency situation, and in other instances, by the limitations in government databases. This highlights the need for ensuing programs to carefully evaluate and identify the appropriate gender indicators in ensuing programs.
